Why We Support Local Food farmers and Producers
We do so because by supporting local farmers and producers we are impacting many lives in a great way. Our producer network is generally made up of small, independently owned farms and companies. Owners care about the quality of the food they’re producing, the land they tend, the people they’re employing and the communities they’re a part of. They do this year-in year-out yet most of this fresh food never gets to our tables us consumers. This is because of access-to-market barriers and logistical challenges the producers encounter. Buying from us is an opportunity to encounter the diversity of fresh foods unique to a region and to a season. It's a chance to get a direct linkage to the real people who grow and make our food and at the same time uplift their lives.

We source from of locally-owned farms, regional farmers markets, small food businesses and bakeries all the way on the country side.
